Camp SafariInstructor: Michele LeTourneau, Carissa Gatti, Meagan Phillips, Jessica Koffler 2 weeks It's Safari time, a time for fun, a time to learn new things and make new friends. Little ones get to go to camp just like their big brothers and sisters. Each day brings a new adventure to stimulate young imaginations and nourish creativity. Our days include art, cooking, singing, physical activity and lots of fun and laughter. Each week is built around a new theme: Under the Sea to Outer Space, Wild Animals, to our own Preschool Olympics. We are offering three two-week sessions. This allows your child time to get adjusted to being at camp, away from home and excited about making new friends and having fun. The longer session takes this "transition" time into consideration and fosters a successful camp experience. These dynamic, highly qualified teachers have extensive experience with young children and will provide a great introduction to just how much fun camp can be. One of Ross School's favorite kindergarten teachers, Michelle LeTourneau joins us for her 2nd year. She has been teaching for 8 years and brings with her a love and understanding of children. Carissa Gatti is also back for her 4th summer. Carissa is a college senior and brings many talents that will inspire your child. Meagan Phillips and Jessica Koffler are also back; Meagan's 2nd year and Jessica's 3rd. Meagan has her masters in education and Jessica is a college senior studying to become a teacher. Both are creative, nurturing and fantastic teachers. Jessica is also responsible for providing Day Care for your child. "Splish Splash Water Days" every Friday with wading pools, water slides and jumpies brings an end to a perfect time. Please bring a snack and lunch each day or advance purchase from Ross Grocery/Woodlands lunch menu. |

Firststep SoccerInstructor: Dan and Meg Ferrando 8 weeks FirstStep Soccer is where Dan (and wife, Meg) introduce kids to the great game of soccer through fun games and drills. Players will be instructed to use both feet; using insides, outsides and bottoms. All drills will be age and ability-appropriate, with our focus on building your child's confidence. Players are taught through cooperation, discipline, and focus which also benefits them in life. Parents are encouraged to stay! (8 weeks) Sign up for one day or if your child is a soccer enthusiast, come for more. $145 per day of the week. (Remember to wear your black shorts, socks, cleats, and shin pads; and of course, bring your bottle of water!!) Dan is the owner of NextStep Soccer Academy. Focusing on player development, he provides age-appropriate skills in a fun, yet challenging environment. He has played in Germany, at USF, coached Drake H.S. boys, Select Class 3, Select Class 1. He is currently the coach for Marin Catholic boys soccer. Meg's degree is in Early Child Education and currently teaching at Ross Rec Preschool, St. John's campus. |

Music TogetherInstructor: Beth Crespan Music Together is a music and movement approach to early childhood music development for infant, toddler and preschool-ages children and their parents and other primary caregivers. Originally offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered the concept of a research based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum with materials for home use that strongly emphasize and facilitate adult involvement. Siblings: Please register your sibling but must pay by check. Sibling fee: $105 Music Together classes are based on the idea that making music with children in the family, and in a community of families, enriches the lives of both children and caregivers, promotes musical growth in children and is great fun. *Children 8 months and younger-free with older siblings.* Material fee $35 (included in fee). No children accepted after 3rd week. |

Dan & Meg will offer more advanced techniques and training, to help you develop confidence and appropriate skills to work into team play. Five year olds who are in Kindergarten are invited to also join Jean Marc Schafer's classes and participate in Saturday morning games(see page 6) (9 weeks) |

doodlebug Pre-school Creativity CampInstructor: doodlebug Staff 1 weeks Join Hilary for some creative adventures at doodlebug. We'll be playing with clay, making mosaics, painting, cutting, folding, stringing and glueing - learning a variety of basic techniques that will come in handy as we grow as artists. Each day will include multiple projects along with a snack (which you will bring) and a story. Bring your old friends and meet some new ones-you'll all have fun this summer if you join us for creativity camp! |

Hop, Slither, and CrawlInstructor: Sharon Heron 1 weeks With magnifying glasses, we'll turn over rocks, peer into flowers and sift through the worm bin in search of roly-polies, ladybugs, caterpillars and more! We'll also use our discoveries as inspiration for artwork and craft projects that will help us remember what we've learn and how much fun we had at MAGC Camp. Please provide a snack, a lunch and a water bottle for your child. Your child must be potty trained. |
