Hip Hop Dance Mixed Levels

Instructor: Chelsea Brown
11 weeks
Hip Hop is an ever-popular street dance that cultivates body control, creativity, and community! In this 11-week workshop, children of all levels will learn rhythm, choreography, precise footwork, upper body strength for breaking, stage presence, and the history of Hip Hop culture. This workshop is based in dance culture and developmental anatomy. It will include styles of house dance, locking, popping, and funk developed in the 1970’s. A balance of precision and respect will be infused with freedom and personal expression, to foster the dancers confidence. Old-school and new Hip Hop and R&B music will be utilized.

Green Dot Ball - Junior Team Tennis - Ages 9-12

Instructor: Tennis in Marin-Tom Sadzeck
8 weeks
Green Dot Ball - Junior Team Tennis League is the next transition level from red ball team place. Kids ages 9-12 play full court with slightly modified balls. This transition allows kids to rally with balls that are very similar to the real thing but are still lighter and less bouncy than regulation tennis balls.

Kids have a team practice once a week and play matches on Fridays versus other Marin County teams. Schedule will be determined just prior to the season for exact dates and locations and times of matches.

Call the Ross Rec office for Optional Registration Choices: $250 for practices only, or \$185 for matches only. \$395 for both.

Practice Time/Day: Wednesdays: 4:30-6pm at Ross Town Courts

Matches: Fridays 4-6pm, dates TBD.
