Marin Explorers

Instructor: Marty Ross & Holly Salamun
1 weeks
Marin Explorers camp is a hands-on excursion camp where children learn by exploring the Bay Area's "out-of-the-way" places. This year they will explore some less common locations like Agate Beach, and Tilden Park. They will have a chance to get in touch with their wild side as they learn about Guide Dogs for the Blind, and trek through the Oakland Zoo. How about practicing your balance at the Yerba Buena Ice Skating Rink? Many new and exciting adventures await. Your child will be in the expert hands of Holly Salamun and Marty Ross, who are thrilled to be offering this popular and unique camp experience!

Our schedule: Mondays are for researching our week's destination ahead of time, Tuesdays are travel days, Wednesdays and Thursdays we are on-site for camp fun, and to put together our souvenirs and memories in a keepsake scrapbook that is yours to take home at the end of the week. Of course, Fridays are POOL DAYS with College of Marin's popular high dive! Come join us for a summer you'll always remember!

Holly Hoppin' Summer Camp

Instructor: Holly Salamun
1 weeks
This is a mixed-age camp available for all children. These super fun summer days will have a great mix of awesome activities in small groups as well as cool choice time options (like riding a bike or roller skates!) This will be an inspiring environment where children have the opportunity to explore, create, discover and nurture their unique attributes. Children will fill their leisurely and creative days with:
-Nature walks and outdoor adventuring
-Games, sports, yoga and free play in the gym
-Music: singing and dancing
-Cooking/baking
-Arts and crafts and creative experiments
-Water play!
This is a family oriented camp, with the older children acting as mentors for the younger, with developmental benefits for both. We believe the multi-age classroom provides a strong foundation and a richer and a well-rounded educational experience. The younger campers will have the opportunity to learn from and look up to the older campers, who will intuitively lead and influence the younger. It is a wonderful camp experience for all ages!
*Wear sunscreen, bring a snack, hearty lunch, and water bottle each day.
