Adventure Camp

Instructor: Jean Marc Schafer, Sandrick Jackson
1 weeks
Adventure Camp is back again! And we're taking on our favorite destinations including Driven Raceway, Six Flags, Stinson Beach, and Paintball Jungle, for the best summer yet!

Wednesdays are a home-base day for some on-site camp fun and to provide a mid-week break from traveling. Scavenger hunts, water fights, relay races, local hiking outings, massive slip and slides and mini olympic tournaments will keep the fun going. Pizza lunch is included on these home-base Wednesdays!

On travel days (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) campers will divide into small groups for our fun-filled days based on their age and interests. Whether your child is 8 or 15 years old, this is a great place to meet friends and enjoy adventures which take them to all the places they dream of going.

**Permission slips: some trips require an additional permission slip, they can all be found on the Info page of our website. Completed forms must be returned to our office BEFORE the first day of camp.**

Wear sunscreen. Bring a water bottle, snack and lunch (when lunch is not included, see calendar).

Trips are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Please note: Adventure Camp has changed into a four day camp, Monday-Thursday**.
**If your camper would like to attend a camp on Friday from 9am-1pm, please contact our office.

Girls Field Hockey 1-Day Clinic

Instructor: Aline Copp
Ross Recreation is offering a middle school girl’s field hockey camp designed for players of all skill levels, including those new to the sport. This is a great opportunity for players to gain exposure to field hockey, as they think about what sports to pursue in high school. Field hockey is a new NCS team sport to many North Bay high schools (including Tam, Drake, Redwood & MC), which means more girls have the chance to make a high school team and build lasting friendships! The camp will be led by coach Aline Copp and will focus on teaching basic skills and game fundamentals while having fun scrimmaging and being active. Aline is a former Harvard University NCAA Division I varsity field hockey player and is currently coaching at the high school level in Marin.

Required Equipment:
• mouth guard
• shin guards (soccer ones are acceptable)
• running shoes (turf shoes or cleats are acceptable footwear)
• plenty of water and a bar/snack
• field hockey sticks and balls will be provided

Note: all players MUST have a mouth guard AND shin guards or they will NOT be allowed to participate.

Clinic is open to girls entering 6th 7th 8th and 9th grades.
